Teachinng/ learning Aids

In this lecture I have learned the importance of using teaching aids in the teaching process. And the useful of using technology devices in teaching an the conditions of effective  teaching aids.The lecture was very interesting becuse the teacher explained the Dale,s cone experiences in a manner that help us to understand each point effectively.

The importance of IT

Using instructional technology is very important for me as a teacher. It gives me a responsible to practice the teaching process by using an effective method to achieve the objectives It is getting me more alternatives to use various elements, and changed the habit of teaching and learning process by using modern technologies and materials. Also gives me a freedom to choose and organize methods that attract students and them to attend the class.

Teaching Aids

Teaching aids are part of  the instructional technology and learning process. It is a collection of instruments and materials such as audio devices(Sound recordings, radio and loudspeakers) , visual devices(models and samples, Graphics and images and monitor overhead) and audio-visual devices like( television , video, slideshow and field trips)  that are used by the teacher to clarify the meanings and explain ideas to students in the learning process. These teaching aids have a great importance in improving teaching and learning. They encourage students and make learning process so suspense. Definition of instructional technology

 Instructional technology is a widely used and constantly changing term in education, so there is no single definition of it but from my studying and reading I can define it as a systematic application of scientific knowledge to the practical tasks. In other words instructional technology is a whole process of designing, implementing and evaluating learning activities by using physical materials such as  computers, CD Roms, interactive media, modems, satellites, teleconferencing and other technological media and take  into account all the human resources and educational level of students  in order to improve and support learning process.
